Quality Assurance Engineer 111312-1
Location: Redmond, WA
Estimated Start Date: 05/06/24
Duration: 6 months
High chance of extension.

Number and Type of Interviews: 2, 45 minute Interviews [1 with HM, 1 with team members]
On-site preferred but open to hybrid/remote as well.
Reason for Request: Workload need


We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) for a contract position. The ideal candidate has great communication skills, can remove roadblocks, detail oriented, and has a knack for breaking websites. QAE's regularly work with Developers, Product Managers and other Quality Engineers to ensure the proper operation of the production environment. During the development cycle, QAEs identify use cases, create test cases, execute tests, and report results.

QUALIFICATIONS
# BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience 2-4 years industry experience testing software, including website applications.
# Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Java and SQL is desired, but not required.
# Experience with Selenium highly desired # Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
# Proficiency working in a Linux/Unix environment.
# Experience with QA process and Software Development Life Cycle.

Can you give me a little detail about your team culture?
9 QE's coming in spread across 2 teams and 2 different HM. Help with installation devices for customers.
Primarily working with internal but there will be some external interactions.
Highly collaborative. QE's being brought on for automation and integration testing.
2-3 managers apart of each team. Customer Service team. Some QA's working w testing and other customer service.
More focused on innovating tests and then when goes live may be more testing and customer focused testing.
Working very close w developers
