We are seeking ongoing applications, for Chemistry Adjunct instructors and substitutes at Renton Technical College (RTC). The Dean of General Education reviews applications as needed to fill openings during the 2023-24 academic year. Please see Terms of Employment for further compensation details. RTC offers just two different classes: CHEM&121 Introduction to Chemistry and CHEM&131 Introduction to Biological and Organic Chemistry. We have standard, open educational resource (OER) curricula for each class, which enrolls an incredibly diverse group of students. We are particularly interested in candidates available for in-person instruction on weekdays or Saturdays.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis as needs arise within each department. Deans will evaluate applications periodically and contact candidates as adjunct positions become available.
