Examples of Duties: 

• Provide patient care based upon practice guidelines, community standards of care, and Federal and State laws and regulations.
• Provide nursing assessments and interventions including medical, dental and psychiatric screening. Monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response
• Evaluate, monitor and treat drug and alcohol withdrawal. 
• Carry out prescribed treatments, wound care.
• Administers medications and vaccinations. 
• Provide mental health services, as a member of an interdisciplinary team, to patients.
• Respond to emergencies throughout the facility; injury and illness; performs CPR when needed.
