Nursing Administration Summer Internship

Jefferson Healthcare () is currently looking for a Nursing Administration Summer Intern. This is a paid Summer Internship that requires a minimum of 180 hours. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in healthcare administration, develop professional skills, and learn about the operational aspects of nursing management.
This is a temporary, non-exempt position, and will remain open until filled.
The compensation for this internship is $16.28/Hour. This compensation will include a 15% increase in lieu of benefits.
In this role, you will:
- Assist the Nursing Administration team with daily operations, including administrative tasks.
- Help with data collection, analysis, and reporting to support education management software.
- Shadow nursing administrators to gain insights into leadership roles and responsibilities.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to understand the workflow and assist with various administrative tasks.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 Years Old
- Current Enrollment or Plan to enroll is an accredited nursing program required
- Previous job shadowing experience preferred
