Catholic Charities is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic JV who's committed to public health and healthy food, and serving low-income people. The Food Pantry & Health Outreach Specialist will enable us to expand our food pantry capacity to serve hundreds of households that struggle with food insecurity and reach out to residents with disabilities in affordable housing, connect them to health resources, and promote healthy living activities within the buildings. . The JV will lead efforts on capacity-building, logistics and planning as we expand from a single weekly pantry to new monthly pantries at 6 other sites. They will oversee the operation of the food pantries, including but not limited to logistics, supervising volunteers and coordinating with Resident Services staff; ordering and re-stocking food pantry items; performing quality control; coordinating food delivery and pick-up; and entering and submitting monthly statistics and reports as required.

In addition to a modest living allowance, you'll also receive an AmeriCorps education award of $7,395.
