Job Summary:

As a Customer Service & Inside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in our organization by managing both inbound and outbound communications with commercial and consumer accounts. Your primary focus will be on promoting our products and services while providing exceptional customer support. This position reports to the Sales Manager of the Retail Division.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries about accounts, products, and services
2. Handle incoming calls professionally and provide accurate information to customers, vendors, and the general public
3. Conduct outbound calls to support the sales team in developing new clients and closing sales
4. Make a minimum of 40 outbound calls daily, increasing as you become more proficient
5. Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently
6. Inform customers about product availability, shipping dates, and delivery fees
7. Generate quotes based on customer needs
8. Maintain accurate client records in our CRM system
9. Stay informed about our products, technology, and industry trends
10. Assist with retail counter sales when needed
11. Participate in occasional evening or weekend work for trade shows and special events

Key Performance Measurements:
- Team performance in areas such as safety, efficiency, work order completion, and customer satisfaction
- Demonstration of complex scheduling abilities to maximize technician efficiency
- Positive attitude, diligence, team contributions, and willingness to learn new skills
- Other performance indicators as assigned

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word; ERP experience a plus
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience working with diverse individuals and remote teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to developing positive workplace relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Adaptability to a fast-paced, changing environment
- Ability to thrive in a high-throughput setting
- Willingness to work occasional overtime

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

This position requires sitting or standing for up to 8 hours daily, frequent use of a computer, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
