Currently seeking an experienced HR professional to take on a consulting contract with a leading local company located in NW Portland. The ideal candidate will be someone with project experience or someone with experience drafting policies and procedures, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

Job Title: HR Process Consultant - contract

Salary: $40-45/hour

Location: Portland, OR - Hybrid

Scope of Work:

· Has employee relations expertise with influencing and negotiation skills.

· Ensures compliance with all applicable policies, laws, and regulations.

· Promotes treatment of employees in a fair, respectful, and consistent manner that works within the framework of our core business values and objectives.

· Escalates issues and matters with recommendations as appropriate.

· Is an approachable subject matter expert with employment law expertise.

· Supports workplace investigations including conducting fact-finding interviews, summarizing conclusions, providing recommendations, and working with other teams on business-related requests (review of job descriptions, org change requests, promotions, separations)

· Transcribing notes, and creating drafts of documents, for employee relations consultant review.

· Assist with various HR projects, as well as assists with the drafting of policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

· Depth of experience in Employee Relations

· Bachelor's degree
