Job Description
- Duties include inspection, diagnosis, and replacement of tires and wheels and accessories for cars and light trucks
- Perform fluid exchanges, general inspections and maintenance, brake inspection, battery, belts, hoses, filters
- Perform a variety of other duties: replacing wiper blades, bulbs, performing test drives
- Focus on building customer relationships and their current and future needs
- Communicate vehicle problems and proposed solutions to customer and/or supervisor
- Keep a clean and safe working environment
Job Requirements:
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers’ problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
- Perform all aspects of automotive maintenance. Tasks including computer resets and procedures, Oil Change reminder resets, Tire Pressure System resets
- Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair by attending schooling and seminars
- Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives
- Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
- Perform all aspects of automotive maintenance and repair.
- Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
- Able to create estimates and advise customers of repairs/maintenance needed
- Able to use tablet for vehicle inspections
- Able to use computer to look up service specifications and service procedures
Qualifications:
- Automotive repair experience in a professional shop environment is preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Follow company procedures and protocol
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment
- Knowledge of TPMS systems and reset procedures
- $14.00 - $16.00 per hour based on experience
