POSITION SUMMARY:

Our client is looking for a Cloud Technology Consultant for a remote role. The main function of a Cloud Technology Consultant is to establish system information requirements using analysis of information in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Design architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces
  • Ensure these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for agency IT architectures, and profiles of standards as they apply to the implementation and specific to the solution for the platform, integration with other systems, and the external interfaces
  • Ensure that the common operating environment is compliant. Evaluates analytically and systematically problems of work flows, organization and planning and develops appropriate corrective action
  • Provide daily supervision and direction to staff
Qualifications:
  • Must have at least 10+ years experience.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
  • Must have a minimum 10 years experience with Azure cloud infrastructure as a service
  • Must have a minimum 10 years experience with Systems automation.
  • Must have a minimum 5 years experience with documentation
  • Should have experience with broad technology delivery, including custom development using various development languages.
  • Should have experience with providing technical leadership, mentoring on software engineering design, development, and frameworks, analyzing alternatives, and presenting technical options to leads and clients.
  • Should have experience with driving technical planning and solutions for small software portfolio, including authoring or managing the development of software designs, managing vendor evaluations, and justifying technical recommendations
  • Should have ability to apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments

  • A competitive pay range of $85/hr- $87/hr (depending on experience).
  • 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
