Qualifications:Minimum of 15 year(s) of experience in Agriculture, Natural resources, Agronomy or related field OR BA/BS Degree in Agriculture, Natural resources, Agronomy or related field - Valid State Driver?s license,
- Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel
Duties:Provide professional advisory support to Washington NRCS with Food Security Act (FSA) requirements, Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP), Conservation Stewardship Program (CStP), Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP), Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP), Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) and other programmatic activities. Serves as a key advisor on appeals and equitable relief discussions. - Review files, and appeals correspondence, and provide recommendations. 40%
- Assist with the development of reports, responses, and letters to NHQ 20%
- Prepare and deliver appeals and related training. 20%
- Assist with general guidance materials related to compliance and appeals. 15%
- Review NAD appeal determinations. 5%
Other:- Annual information system security, anti-harassment, and civil rights training.
- Training will be provided when identified as being available and necessary for this employee?s position
- Travel Requirements: Travel may be necessary to present trainings or Appeal hearings with National Appeals Division (NAD)
