Job Duties:The Principal Implementation Consultant position is a post-sales position that is primarily responsible for mentoring and training internal teams on Edifecs products and customer custom components. The Principal Implementation Consultant is responsible for the following: delivering technical training at customer sites as part of the customer's software release and deployment cycle; creating detailed user and operational documentation, and solution architecture design to support the deployment of products and services at client sites; collaborating with the Edifecs Implementation Architect / Technical Project Manager to formulate the architecture, implementation strategy/schedule, effort estimation and operational plan; creating product training to new client specific requirements, development and deployment; and overseeing the implementation of Edifecs products at client sites. Must be willing to travel as needed – approximately 75%. No international travel. Telecommuting available. Multiple openings.
Job Requirements:Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, plus 6 years of experience as a Software Developer, or related occupation, including:
- 6 years of experience developing and deploying Java or Middleware based applications using at least one technology such as IBM Websphere, TIBCO Business works;
- 6 years of experience using software life-cycle methodologies such as waterfall, agile-scrum in developing products and IT applications;
- 6 years of experience in using software engineering tools for configuration management, defect tracking, unit testing, build and deployment; and
- 3 years of experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) mapping, and EDI analysis.
Alternate Requirements: Master’s degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, plus 5 years of experience as a Software Developer, or related occupation, including:
- 5 years of experience developing and deploying Java or Middleware based applications using at least one technology such as IBM Websphere, TIBCO Business works;
- 5 years of experience using software life-cycle methodologies such as waterfall, agile-scrum in developing products and IT applications;
- 5 years of experience in using software engineering tools for configuration management, defect tracking, unit testing, build and deployment; and
- 3 years of experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) mapping, and EDI analysis.
Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Employer will accept the equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree through education and experience as evaluated by a professional credentials evaluator.
Note: The expected base pay range for this position is $162,531 - $198,933 per year. Base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, and experience.
