Senior Engineer I, lululemon usa inc., Seattle, WA. Implement E-commerce solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) B2C platform, focusing on Backend development. Develop new features and components focused on the browser interaction side using Javascript frameworks, advanced HTML, CSS, and SAAS. Plan, write, and test code to meet the requirements of tasks assigned, based on the technical specification. Understand SFCC platform out-of-the-box functionalities, cartridge integration, and customization feasibility to propose appropriate solutions for technical problems to build fully functioning E-commerce sites on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Work closely with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, and software development teams to support and guide development team members implementing the needed SFCC and front-end solutions and educate teams on corresponding technical aspects. Ensure that customer-facing applications are designed to be highly available, observable, and durable via software engineering best practices. Work with Product and Project Owners to understand end-user requirements, formulate user stories, and then translate those into pragmatic and effective technical solutions. Work closely with front-end, back-end, and operations engineers to ensure deliverables are well-documented, secure, and resilient.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days/week.
40 hrs./week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in software development.
Of the required experience, must have at least 5 years of experience in each of the following:
- Delivering production ready implementations with the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform;
- Cloud-based services or service-oriented architectures;
- Developing applications with Mulesoft/AWS integrations and Sterling OMS;
- Payment integration using Adyen payment gateway;
- Experience working in international domain with experience developing on single code base for multiple sites; and
- Software development fundamentals including automated testing, source control (GitLab), and continuous integration in addition to continuous delivery and/or deployment.
Of the required experience, must have at least 5 years of experience with SFCC in each of the following:
- Search indexes, Promotions, Catalogs, and Site Preferences under merchant tools and admin tools;
- Jobs Framework working with modules including Orders, Customers, Product, Inventory, and Price books;
- Developing SFRA framework, Controllers, and ISML;
- Developing multi-site with localizing the storefronts using multiple locales/currencies and feature Flags/Toggles;
- Developing code to protect storefront from XSS and CORS vulnerabilities;
- Customizing core modules including PDP, PLP, Cart, Checkout pages, and Page Designer; and
- Developing Customer profiles, Content Library, and Content Slots.

In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
