This Accounts Receivable Specialist will perform a variety of tasks related to accounts receivable such as performing research and analytics to resolve discrepancies, working closely with internal customers, customer portals, and invoicing systems to ensure proper account balances and timely payments.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Reconcile, maintain, and monitor customer accounts. Review for accuracy, work to resolve any discrepancies with the customer and/or various departments, work with customers to stay current, set up payment schedules and ensure accounts stay within terms.
- Daily reconciliation of electronic sales data from external customers.
- Daily communication with internal and external customers via phone, mail, email.
- Ability to work across multiple internal and external vendor systems.
- Managing daily/weekly/monthly aging for assigned accounts.
- Communicate and concisely explain any slow-moving accounts or open items to the Supervisor.
- Engage management in any AR issues that arise
- Other duties as assigned

Preferred Education/Experience
- High School Diploma is required, bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Advanced computer skills required
- Advanced excel skills required (i.e. VLookup, SumIF, Pivot Tables, etc.)
