Assist in updating consumer loan policies and procedures of the Bank to ensure compliance with appropriate laws and regulations. Participate in various compliance workgroups, assist Compliance Managers in documenting and organizing work papers and committee packages, and ensure tracking reports are up-to-date. May assist in the testing of compliance with applicable compliance laws and regulations and coordination of responses to complaints. Compile information for reporting to management.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Assist in testing of various consumer lending compliance regulations, to ensure products and services are working as disclosed and per regulatory requirements.
Perform administrative and other support for the Compliance Department.
Assist in tracking and monitoring complaints and marketing and other reviews. Provide reporting as needed.
Responsible for database administration if applicable to job duties.
Assist in preparation of reports for various committees, workgroups, and projects.
Responsible for reporting to the Compliance Manager any findings. Responsible for thorough documentation in all phases of work.
Responsible for complying with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations. Participate in continuing education to maintain and enhance job performance.
Education & Certifications
Associate's degree: Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science or other related field required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
Experience
2 or more years of compliance or banking experience, such as auditing, loan review, database management, or legal required
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge of Consumer Lending, banking products, and deposit operations, including basic of regulatory requirements.
Ability to produce accurate and quality work. Possess effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
Possess organizational and problem solving with the ability to deliver timely results along with professional, responsive internal customer service.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Demonstrate perform data extracts, data downloading, and data formatting. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Ability to develop knowledge of software and database applications used in the fulfillment of job requirements.
Possess federal and state laws and regulations related to consumer lending compliance.
Compensation & Benefits
Targeted starting compensation range is based on location and experience: $19.60 - $23.06 hourly
Incentive and commission compensation may be awarded for eligible roles
