Sr HR Business Partner – Hybrid, WA
POSITION PURPOSE:
Provides comprehensive HR services and expertise across a range of HR functions and programs to key business/client groups. The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will support initiatives that foster an inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplace culture, enhance employee engagement, and ensure the effective delivery of HR services. Functions in a multifaceted role supporting workforce planning, employee relations, employee engagement and retention, and performance management.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Works closely with people leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides daily performance management guidance to people leaders and supports annual reviews and performance counseling processes.
- Advises and recommends proactive measures and best practices with complex employee relations issues, conducts investigations, and facilitates resolutions to foster a positive work environment.
- Collaborates with HR Business Partner colleagues to ensure consistency with employment decisions, policy interpretation and administration of employee programs and practices, while maintaining fair and equitable approach and ensuring compliance with state, federal and local regulations.
- Provides HRIS Support to managers by ensuring employee changes are entered accurately and timely into the technology, specifically advising and guiding managers on making job and pay changes in the system.
- Provides support and education to client groups regarding CHPW time and attendance policies, state and federal wage and hour laws, FLSA Compliance, compensation philosophy and salary administration.
- Oversees complex Leave of Absences (LOAs) and disability accommodations, providing guidance and support to both employees and managers to ensure compliance with legal requirements and a positive employee experience.
- Drafts and/or updates policies and procedures as requested, including those related to performance management, unique department incentive processes, etc.
- Provides guidance and gives input to leaders on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and other change management initiatives.
- Conducts comprehensive reviews of job descriptions, and develops offer terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Prior Related Experience:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and highly relevant experience (required)
- Have a certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Human Resources (SHRM-CP), or Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources (SRHM-SCP) (preferred)
- Have a minimum of (5) years progressively responsible experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or equivalent (required)
- Have expertise in two (2) or more functional areas of HR, including Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Administration, or Employment Law.
- Have experience working in a healthcare environment (preferred)
- Have proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

- Complete and successfully pass a criminal background check.
