Job DescriptionDescription
The primary responsibility of a security officer is to perform support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. You will maintain vigilance to prevent fires from starting and act swiftly in case of emergencies. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
Salary Depending on experience, $20 hourly
Position is full time
Monitoring: Patrol assigned areas to detect and prevent fire hazards.
Reporting: Immediately report unsafe conditions, fires, or emergencies to appropriate personnel.
Equipment: Maintain fire watch equipment in good condition and use it as instructed.
Safety: Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with fire prevention policies.
Communication: Effectively communicate with coworkers and supervisors regarding fire risks and safety concerns.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent, additional education or security training preferred.
Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic understanding of fire safety procedures and protocols.
Ability to remain alert and vigilant during assigned shifts
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Capable of lifting and moving equipment as necessary.
Agility to navigate various work environments safely.
