Job SummaryAt Snohomish PUD, we believe that investing in our employees is key to our success in serving our communities. We’re seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping our company culture, supporting our employees, and driving organizational success. This role will be approximately 50% Recruiter and 50% Compensation Analyst (roles subject to change as business needs change). This is currently a hybrid role (subject to change). It is expected the person filling this position will be onsite two to three days per week.
We are seeking someone who builds and maintains partnerships with employees at all levels across the organization. Must be a self-starter, ready to hit the ground running with minimal supervision (but always with support). Must be knowledgeable about technology, including experience using an applicant tracking system and intermediate or better Excel skills.
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop strategies for filling positions.
Effectively navigate applicant tracking system.
Source, screen, and interview candidates for various positions.
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Educate and guide managers on recruitment process
Compensation:Administer compensation programs, including:
Conducting salary reviews for new hires and promotions
Researching and administering merit programs
Analyzing market data to ensure competitive compensation packages
Responding to salary surveys
Assisting managers with development and/or updating of job descriptions organizational design consultations
Ensuring compliance with FLSA
Educating managers on our compensation programs and practices
Minimum Qualifications
Human Resources Generalist II: ($88,816 - $111,028 annually)Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, HR Management, Public Administration, or a related field, AND
Two (2) Years of related Human Resources Experience
OR
Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, HR Management, Public Administration, or a related field, AND
Four (4) Years of related Human Resources Experience
OR
Six (6) years of related Human Resources Experience
Human Resources Generalist III: ($111,410 - $139,264 annually)Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, HR Management, Public Administration, or a related field, AND
Four (4) Years of related Human Resources Experience
OR
Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, HR Management, Public Administration, or a related field, AND
Six (6) Years of related Human Resources Experience
OR
Eight (8) years of related Human Resources Experience
