This is a critical role, with the Network Contractor being pivotal in negotiating new provider contracts with adult family homes focusing on Behavioral Health. Key Responsibilities:
+ Negotiate behavioral health provider contracts, ensuring compliance and meeting regulatory requirements.
+ Represent our healthcare partner in interactions, presenting as part of the team dedicated to expanding and maintaining a high-quality provider network.
+ Utilize proprietary systems (e.g., Salesforce) for documenting contracts, claims, and other critical information.
+ Engage directly with providers via calls and emails, handling applications, negotiating rates, and explaining contracts clearly.
+ Participate in a specific Medicaid project with the State of Washington, requiring excellent interpersonal skills and a resilient negotiation approach.
+ Travel for meetings with adult family homes, aiming for minimal travel and leveraging remote communication tools as much as possible.
Requirements
+ Significant experience in provider behavioral health contracting, focusing on negotiating and issuing contracts for a Medicaid health plan.
+ Proven track record in recruiting providers for a health plan network, achieving deadlines, and providing daily status updates.
+ Experience working as a provider contract manager or similar, developing, negotiating, and obtaining fully executed agreements with various providers.
+ Ability to work remotely without distractions, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Strongly preferred:
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields (Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, etc.) or associate degree accepted.
