Summary of Duties:
Under administrative direction of the Associate Vice President for Finance and Administration, directs and oversees the integrated operations, programs, and activities of the campus transportation and parking services for the University. Ensures efficient, cost-effective, safe, and viable services while maintaining customer satisfaction. Responsible for comprehensive transportation planning.
Required Qualifications:
• Positions require a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and six (6) years of progressively responsible relevant experience, which has included at least three (3) years of managerial experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year‐for‐year basis. A Master's degree in a related field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of the required experience. Education and experience can be tailored to fit the specific organizational entity/directorial assignment.
• Experience managing parking and transportation conventions and/or systems as related to large-scale entities.
• Experience in transportation, capital, strategic, project and program planning; examining and re-engineering operations, developing policies and procedures, implementing new strategies, organizing resources, and measuring outcomes.
• Management experience in budget preparation and fiscal management; Experience in financial/business analysis.
• Customer service principles, techniques, systems, and standards; Experience in the resolution on customer complaints and concerns.
• Experience developing, monitoring, and maintaining quality control standards.
• Three (3) years of experience managing, training, and developing employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and assigning work, evaluating staff performance, and fostering a cooperative work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced interpersonal and community relation skills and experience effectively communicating and working within a diverse community.
• Proven skills in developing, implementing, and maintaining parking mitigation strategies that include sustainable multi-modal solutions.
• Certification of Public Parking Administrator (CAPP)

Monthly Salary: $8,342- $10,829.50

Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Successful candidates typically begin up to mid-point of the salary range.
