Job DescriptionJob Purpose:
Provides accommodations for residents by maintaining and securing facilities; managing residents.
Duties:
* Welcomes residents by assigning rooms; explaining occupancy rules; providing orientation to house, neighborhood, transportation, and services.
* Maintains facility by inspecting premises; identifying problems; contracting with and supervising maintenance, cleaning, landscaping, and snow removal services; purchasing and repairing furniture; identifying need for renovations; ordering and maintaining supplies.
* Secures facility by installing and maintaining security devices; enforcing house rules; monitoring security patrol services; enforcing safety and health rules; responding to emergencies.
* Forwards information by recording telephone messages; distributing mail.
* Maintains order by investigating resident or neighbor complaints; counseling residents; resolving disputes; supervising social functions.
* Completes reports by entering required information.
* Helps residents by escorting them on trips; arranging recreational events; obtaining medical attention and social services.
* Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
* Maintains house services by accomplishing related results as needed.
