Product Marketing Manager, Public Sector Market Segment
Overview
Edifecsis seeking a Product Marketing Manager to simultaneously lead our end-to-end marketing for our Healthcare Interoperability Cloud solutions while also heading up our go-to-market strategy and execution for the Public Sector segment across all relevant solutions.
The Product Marketing Manager will play a critical role in annual and strategic planning, market and competitive research and analysis, product positioning and messaging, sales enablement, including content creation and client presentation support, campaign development and execution, marketing project management, and event support. The ideal candidate has a good understanding of State and Government Agencies health SaaS solutions, is organized, self-motivated, can understand and simplify complex concepts, is strategic and tactically minded, and develops and maintains collaborative and supportive relationships across a wide variety of people from executives to technical experts internally and externally.
Whatyou will do:
- Go-To-Market Strategy & Execution. Partner with Sales and Product to understand and articulate business problems, value proposition, positioning, market needs, and barriers to the Public Sector market segment. Then partner with internal demand gen, events, and creative teams to execute on campaigns.
- Annual Planning. Coordinate with sales, product, and marketing partners to develop comprehensive annual strategic marketing and product launch plans in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Market & Competitive Research & Analysis & Voice of Customer Interviews. Conduct primary and secondary research on healthcare market dynamics, public sector trends, and market opportunities. Perform and maintain competitor research across all product lines.
- Persona Development. Understand and market to our different types of buyers according to their buying/decision making influence, needs, values, challenges, etc.
- Content Creation.Collaborate with our Content Manager to develop original content for brand/thought leadership (blogs, articles, podcasts), demand generation (email, whitepapers, ebooks), product launch and client retention programs (web, presentations, product flyers, case studies). Serve as a subject matter expert and reviewer on press releases and other earned media.
- Ongoing Collaboration.Continuously partner across marketing, product, and sales to deliver insightful marketing strategies, compelling content, and effective campaigns.
- Sales Enablement.Collect, distill, and communicate solution value propositions to internal stakeholders through data sheets, solution briefs, and powerful client facing decks that help the sales team positionEdifecsabove the competition.
- Project Management.Ensure all programs are delivered on time and on budget.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Businessor a relevant field.
- 3-5 years of B2B marketing experience in healthcare or health IT.
- 3-5 years of experience marketing to or working in the public sector market
- Knowledge of or certification in Pragmatic or Forrester Product Marketing & Management model.
- An ability to jump right in, provide ongoing consultation to internal partners, and take accountability for the execution, deadlines, and deliverables of the marketing project plan
- The ability to design, conduct, execute, and report on projects from end-to-end.
- Knowledge of how content marketing supports marketing programming with a proven track record (and samples) of building content (collateral, white papers, data sheets) for complicated subject areas.
- Ability to interview subject matter experts and write a compelling story.
- A curious, compassionate approach to your work that facilitates effective collaboration throughout the entire marketing journey to drive innovation.
Note:Theexpectedbase pay range for this position is $105,000- $145,108per year.
