Job Summary:
Treaters will perform operational work related to daily work instructions, inspection, grading, treatment and materials. Operates the treating plant safely and proficiently. On the job training is provided during the day shift. Swing shift starts after successful completion of training. A successful candidate will be proficient in this role within 3-6 months, and work hard to be promotable within this department.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Forklift experience is desired but will train the right individual
- Basic math skills
- Safety conscientious
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to multitask
- Other production labor as needed to help production flow - stack lumber, load/unload kilns
Additionally:
- Self Starter; Able to work with little or no supervision
- Team player with adequate communication skills
- Able to repeatedly lift-up to 50lbs
Work Environment:
This position requires a lot of outdoor time with exposure to moderate to loud noise levels, wood dust debris, and a variety of weather conditions.
Minimum Requirements: Entry Level Position
- Able to wear respirator per WISHA standards (can be properly fit tested and pass physical exam)
- Valid DL and reliable transportation to-from work
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred, but not required
