Care Connection is a private, non-profit, private-pay program of Senior Services for South Sound. Care Connection refers Independent Providers, housekeepers and caregivers to people in Mason and Thurston Counties, primarily aged 60 and above, or adults with disabilities with an affordable, trusted and reliable place to turn to when needing a variety of assistance. Independent Providers on the Care Connection registry provide Housekeeping, Personal Care, Shopping, Errands, Transportation, Medication Administration, medication management, Respite Care for families, Companionship Care, hospice Care, end of Life Care and everything in between. When you are referred through Care Connection as an Independent Provider you work directly for your client and are paid by your client, not a franchise or corporation. As an Independent Provider on the registry you are screened, to ensure the clients you are working for are receiving the support and care they deserve. Care Connection checks references, and does a Background check including a sex offender’s sweep on each Independent Provider prior to adding you to the registry. In compliance with the Care Connection independent provider Guidelines that you will sign when you are added to the Care Connection registry, you must supply Care Connection with proof of your current Washington State business license, current CPR certification, current malpractice insurance coverage, current driver’s license and submit to Care Connection running a Background check including a sex offender’s sweep annually.
(All information on how to obtain, including estimated cost are provided by Care Connection)
