Introduction: Hill Valley Health Care is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Administrator in Training. This position offers a unique opportunity to receive comprehensive training and mentorship in healthcare administration. As an Administrator in Training, you will work closely with experienced healthcare administrators to gain practical experience and develop the necessary skills to succeed in this rewarding field. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Learning and Development: Shadow and learn from experienced healthcare administrators to understand and assist with daily administrative operations. 

  • Patient Care Coordination: Assist in coordinating patient care activities, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a seamless patient experience. 

  • Healthcare Compliance: Gain knowledge of healthcare regulations and assist in ensuring compliance with industry standards and policies. 

  • Administrative Support: Provide support in maintaining patient records, managing office supplies, and assisting with billing and insurance claims processing. 

  • Communication: Handle inquiries from patients and healthcare providers professionally, ensuring excellent customer service and timely resolution of issues. 

  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data collection, analysis, and reporting. 

  • Project Assistance: Support special projects as assigned, including research, preparing presentations, and contributing to process improvements. 

Qualifications: 

  • Education:Bachelor’s Degree required; Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred; Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or other healthcare relate field is advantageous. 

  • Experience: No prior experience required; internship or previous exposure to healthcare administration is advantageous. 

  • Skills: 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and healthcare management software. 

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
