Position: Senior Software Engineer
Job Location: 10900 NE 4th Street, Floor 8, Bellevue, WA 98004
Duties: Designs, develops, and maintains software applications. Write high-quality code, debug and troubleshoot issues, and ensure the scalability and performance of the software. Contributes to the architectural design and system integration of software solutions. Make strategic decisions on technology choices, design scalable and maintainable systems, and ensure adherence to Walmart's technical standards. Collaborates with cross-functional teams such as quality assurance, operations, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of software applications. Participate in meetings, resolve dependencies, and coordinate release schedules.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.
Skills required: Experience understanding software development principles, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. Experience in project management tool SIM, JIRA, and Confluence. Experience understanding software development methodologies Agile. Experience in debugging issues using Junit and Pytest. Experience using digital tools and technology including IntelliJ, postman, VS code, and Linux. Experience in GitHub for managing code. Experience in Cloud technologies AWS Lambda, AWS CloudWatch, and Step function. Experience coding in object-oriented programming language Java, Python, Ruby, and C#. Experience designing and implementing REST API using Java. Experience with Maven. Experience with Language Integrated Query (LINQ), SQL Server, and SQL Server Data Tools. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $212,202/year to $216,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
