Performs several critical human resources functions and workforce management, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, compensation, benefits, training, diversity, employee engagement, leave and attendance tracking, payroll, and employee records. Facilitates and communicates organizational policies and programs and ensures labor law and regulatory compliance. Provides internal support and partnership to business lines to deliver required human resources.
. This position requires onsite work, Monday through Friday. Work hours are typically 8am - 4:30pm, with a requirement of one day a week working an off shift of 11am - 7:30pm.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform full cycle recruiting. Including job posting, candidate screening, interviews (phone and in-person), candidate selection and job offer.
Coordinate and lead orientation for new hires, including scheduling of orientation, compiling of company materials for orientation, scheduling drug screen/physical, providing training in the areas of sexual harassment, compensation/payroll and benefits. Create, update and modify orientation materials when necessary.
Assist employees with STD, LTD and FMLA and other forms. Keep records with regards to all. Explain human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards or regulations.
Compile & Process accurate data pertaining to payroll (UKG) compensation, 401-K and other benefits, plus maintain/update records concerning these issues as requested or necessary. Assist employees with questions, concerns or modifications pertaining to all areas. Develop and maintain an audit system for reporting of errors. Provide information to Compensation Manager for review of all areas and discuss areas for improvements.
Prepare & distribute reviews on time and follow up on due dates. Maintain employee and company files concerning compensation data. Create and maintain an audit system for the compensation system.
Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software
May performs task and activities associated with employee relations/special events
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Specifications
Knowledge of the following: HRIS Payroll software, 401(k) and healthcare plans.
MS Excel and Word.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others.
Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
Education and Qualifications
One to four years' experience in Human Resource programs, or similar experience preferred
(1) A Bachelor's degree (Business Admin., HR Management, or related) Required.
SHRM or Human Resource Management certification a plus.

Ability to utilize/operate a computer, peripheral equipment and appropriate software. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
