Job Title: Sr. Support Engineer
Job Location: Redmond, WA 98052
Job Duration: 12 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $54.90/hr to $55.90/hr
Job Description:
- Work on an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
Key job responsibilities:
- Modify, maintain and validate business related configurations (such as catalog, ordering, billing, notifications, tax, payments, accounting, finance) to satisfy business requirements.
- Communicate with partner teams to ensure country specific configuration are in place and working.
- Develop tools and automate manual operational tasks and easy maintenance of our services.
- Read and understand complex application code and make code fixes to resolve support issues. Able to deliver software independently when needed.
- Software deployment support in staging and production environments.
- Build monitoring metrics dashboard, and report System health and Support status metrics.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of software development, or 4+ years of technical support experience
- Experience scripting in modern program languages
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development
- Experience troubleshooting & maintaining hardware & software RAID
- Experience with REST web services, XML, JSON
- Working knowledge of cloud products and technologies (EC2, S3, Lambda, Docker, etc.)
