New York Eye, a leader in quality eyewear (Ernest Hemingway, Marie Claire, Esquire) that is styled and priced to meet the needs of today’s consumers, is seeking an experienced outside sales representative to service optometrists, ophthalmologists, and opticians in the states of Washington and Oregon. This is an established territory with tremendous opportunity for growth.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
- Deliver growth by regularly visiting and servicing existing customers in their office M-F
- Adhere to comprehensive call cycle plan to achieve desired results
- Present new and current eyewear lines at all appointments
- Effectively manage board space, monitor brand positioning and support sell-through of product
- Continuously prospect for new sales opportunities within the territory to increase revenue
- Provide exceptional customer service and “partner” with your accounts
- Ability to actively close sales
- Utilize reports and samples to effectively manage the customer relationship
- Submit weekly reports to company management
Ideal candidates will have the following:
- Must have Outside Sales experience, minimum 2 years preferred
- Persistent, goal-oriented sales hunter
- Motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision
- Proven territory management and call cycle skills
- Demonstrated track record in developing business to business relationships
- Ability to travel the states of Washington and Oregon with some overnight travel
- You must own a reliable personal car
- Ability to lift sample bags up to 45 pounds
