Some of what you will do
- Directly hire, support, and supervise laboratory staff including Clinical/Medical Technologists and Laboratory Technicians who perform complex patient testing in the areas of Phlebotomy, Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Immunochemistry, Serology and Urinalysis
- Maintain quality control and quality management programs
- Communicate knowledgeably with medical providers, nurses, and administrators, regarding laboratory and patient issues
- Perform all inspections and responses to maintain CAP/CMS Accreditation
- Manage supplies and equipment to keep laboratory operational.
Who should apply
ASCP certification or equivalent, and
- Masters* degree in Medical Technology or equivalent applicable laboratory field
- And, 4 years of clinical, chemical, public health, or related lab experience as a Lab Technician; 2 of these years in a lead capacity
