Location: Bremerton, Washington
Type: Non-exempt, hourly
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (Skookum's compensation strategy is to position new employees between the minimum and midpoint of this range, depending on qualifications and experience.)
Work Schedule: Part-Time, Day shift hours between 8:00am-4:00pm on Tues/Thurs with a maximum of 8 hours per week.

As a Business Development Research Assistant
Research any identified industry market that appears to have benefit for the company
Research labor, demographics, education, and/or financial statistics that help make business decisions
Research on other companies' products, finances, workforce, i.e. to contribute to a competitive analysis
Research companies, contacts, and strategies for conference preparations
Will occasionally assist in the data visualization of unanalyzed data
Will occasionally assist in the organization of research documents and archives

Summary of desired skills and experience for the Skookum Business Development Research Assistant:
High School Diploma/GED, or equivalent required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Computer/tech savvy
A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum's insurance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
